What Readers Are Saying About Daisy Dunlop

I love a book that makes me laugh out loud. The characters were excellent, plot was intricate, and grammar and spelling were a 10. (twinsmom ~ Amazon.com)

Flawless writing, witty repartee, great story, puts this book into one of the best of its genre I have read in years. I can’t wait to see what Daisy is up to in the next episode of her life. (Kate McVaugh ~ Amazon.com)

I cannot remember any other novel that I laughed my way through while trying to puzzle together a mystery! Brilliant – highly recommend this book. Read in one day as I couldn’t stop. (Pelican Freak ~ Amazon.com)

JL Simpson’s debut thriller defies categorization. It’s a character driven cozy mystery with a delightfully quirky amateur detective. Only instead of an old lady solving crimes over her knitting, s*** gets blown up. And sexy, mysterious private investigators haunted by the dark demons of their painful past do NOT hook up with the beautiful heroine because (even after years of marriage and a teenage son), she’s deliriously in love with her handsome husband. Oh, and there’s at least one shooting that will leave you laughing. (Barb Taub ~ Amazon. com)

It’s non-stop action all the way in J.L. Simpson’s witty and very amusing debut tale of mystery solving. The interaction between Daisy and Solomon is extremely entertaining as he struggles unsuccessfully to keep her out of danger. (Cathy R ~ Amazon.com)

Simpson has certainly hit her stride with this book and her humour is a delight to read. There are many side-splitting laughs liberally sprinkled throughout while there are other sub stories weaving in the background. I’m glad a huge secret is revealed and I’m keen for book three. (Karen’s Book Haven ~ Amazon.com)

I love Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series and am now hooked on JL Simpson’s Daisy Dunlop series for the same reasons – well-written, fast-paced fun! (Amazon Reader ~ Amazon.com)

Laughter, twists, turns and merges. Loved this book. (Pearley ~ Amazon.com)
